I have started a new stage in my life called “retirement”. This is my time and I want this time to be an adventure. I want to add colour to my life, bright, bold colours. I want to travel new paths, to try new things, to go the extra mile. I want to pursue health of my body, mind and spirit. I want to tap into my creative side. I want to learn new things, try new things and go for it all. This is my journey.
My favorite Quote:
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ― Mark TwainArchives

Hello! I really enjoy your blog. it is beautiful and your pictures are outstanding. You also seem like a fun person, full of color and with a zest for life. That is why I have nominated you for the Liebster blog award. This award is given to blogger with 200 or less followers who deserve a little more recognition. There are a few simple rules that go with the award. They are as follows as passed on to me:
1. Give a shout out to the one who nominated you by linking back to their blog.
2.Nominate 5 other blogs with less than 200 followers.
3. Spread the good blog karma.
Lastly, remember to add the Liebster award image to your post.
Best Wishes.
OMG I just read your bucket list !
Money is tight for me, so many of those things are out of my reach, but I do have one item on my list. I want to visit Newfoundland and see an iceberg.
Hi Maggie, never heard of the NANO ….
Retirement can be an amazing time. It’s what you make of it, and it sounds like you’re going to make everything you can.
Feel free to pepper me with questions about Nova Scotia prior to your visit. No question is too silly. I had to ask a friend when I moved here 2 years ago, “What’s the difference between the Maritime and the Atlantic Provinces?” There IS a difference.
I live near Halifax and would be delighted to buy you a coffee and welcome you on your visit.
Best wishes, Sybil

I will take you up on your kind offer. We did spend a couple of years in dartmouth way back in the late 60′s. I bet it has changed a lot.
